School Environment Education

We focus on building environmental awareness, innovativeness, leadership and activism in schools through our Green Champions Clubs.

Description: This program establishes Green Champions Clubs within schools. Students in these clubs become environmental leaders by:

  • Learning: Participating in interactive workshops, learning about local environmental issues, exploring climate change impacts, and acquiring knowledge of sustainable practices.
  • Leading: Organizing environmental awareness campaigns, tree-planting initiatives, waste reduction projects, and schoolyard greening initiatives among others.
  • Spreading the Message: Sharing their knowledge with classmates, families, and the wider community.

Core Activities:

  • Curriculum development and support for environment and climate change education in schools.
  • Training workshops for teachers and Green Champions Club members.
  • Environmental leadership development and advocacy for students.
  • Community outreach and awareness campaigns.
