YES Global Initiative has taken a significant step towards environmental advocacy through the establishment of the Environment Parliament-A semblance of Uganda’s Parliamentary sessions happening every year in the halls of the Parliament of Uganda. This innovative platform empowers youth to become active participants in environmental decision-making. By providing a space for young minds to discuss, debate, and propose solutions to pressing environmental issues, we are cultivating the next generation of environmental leaders. The Environment Parliament has been instrumental in fostering a sense of environmental consciousness and inspiring tangible actions to protect our planet.

We inaugurated this idea in 2023 at the Uganda Parliament with partnership from many other civil society organizations and leaders in various space and close to 400 young people attended.
