From July 2023, we got the opportunity to implement a mini-project in two schools both primary and Secondary schools in Uganda through our founder Richard Tusabe courtesy of the support from North American Association for Environmental Education with funding from U.S. Environmental Protection Agency | US EPA.

Our main focus in this ‘TEEN Project’ in both Kampala city and Soroti District has been mainly rested on taking environmental literacy to the classroom level with a blend of experiential learning through practical environmental skilling to over 100 students and four teachers through their Green Champions Clubs in both Dakabela Primary School and Spire Highschool respectively.

The project has been a success of course with support from our stakeholders especially the central government through the Ministry of Education and Sports and the local leadership in both Soroti District Education and Environment Departments as well as Kasangati Town Council leadership in Wakiso District.
