Who We Are;

YES Global Initiative known as (Global Initiative for Young Environmental Stewards) in full, is a grass-root youth-oriented environmental organization in Uganda that was founded by a young environment enthusiast in Uganda called Richard Tusabe during the covid19 lockdown in 2020 with an aim of boosting environmental education and promoting youth green entreprenuership in Uganda.

We are a dully registered NGO with the Uganda NGO Bureau with a registration number 8938 and a permit number of 1658 under the Non-Governmental Organizations Act 2016.

What Keeps Us Awake

Uganda having the youngest population in the world!
Millions of these youth being enrolled in both primary and secondary education.
Many of these are being trapped in the dark when it comes to environmental knowledge and skills.
All this affects their environmental responsibility and as well, cutting them off from a sustainable future.
The youth are willing to engage, learn, acquire skills and act.
The fact that someone out there can work with us to help transform the youth!

Through promoting environmental literacy in schools and empowering the youth outside schools with green entrepreneurship, we strive to raise a generation fit for a sustainable future.
