Young Environment Volunteers and Exchange Programme
Fostering environmental stewardship and cultural exchange through volunteerism is our dream;
This program connects Ugandan youth with environmental volunteer opportunities both locally and internationally. Participants can:
- Volunteer: Contribute to local environmental projects like conservation initiatives, waste management programs, green campaigns in schools and community awareness campaigns.
- Exchange: Participate in international volunteer programs, learn about environmental challenges faced by other countries, and share Ugandan environmental practices.
- Network: Build connections with young environmental leaders from around the world.
Core Activities:
- Organizing local and international environmental volunteer programs.
- Facilitating cultural exchange and knowledge sharing between Ugandan youth and international counterparts.
- Building partnerships with environmental organizations and NGOs.
Public Participation:
- Young people can sign up to volunteer in local environmental initiatives.
- Organizations can offer environmental volunteer opportunities to YEVEP participants.
- International partners can collaborate on exchange programs and joint environmental projects.
Technical Work:
- Identifying and securing suitable local and international volunteer placements.
- Developing logistics and safety protocols for volunteer programs.
- Facilitating communication and cultural exchange between participants.
