Description: This program equips young people with the knowledge and tools to launch environmentally friendly businesses. Our participants always;
- Learn: Develop business skills like financial literacy, marketing, and product development, with a focus on green technologies and sustainable practices.
- Develop: Access mentorship and support to create business plans for eco-friendly products or services.
- Launch: Pitch their business ideas to potential investors and receive assistance in securing funding.
Core Activities:
- Green business workshops and mentorship programs.
- Startup funding and incubation support for youth-led green businesses.
- Organizing green innovation competitions and networking events.
Public Participation:
- Young people can apply to participate in the program and receive training and mentorship.
- Businesses and entrepreneurs can offer mentorship and support to young green entrepreneurs.
- Investors can consider funding promising green business ideas.
Technical Work:
- Identifying and researching viable green business opportunities in Uganda.
- Developing training materials on green business practices and technologies.
- Carrying out the training in the relevant green businesses
- Connecting young entrepreneurs with relevant resources and networks.
